Payment Options / Insurance
Several factors determine the fee for orthodontics, including the complexity of your orthodontic condition and the length of treatment anticipated. You will be informed of any fees before treatment is started, and financial options will be discussed during your initial visit.
We offer a discount when more than one family member receives treatment in our office.
Our Financial Coordinator helps patients select the best option for their individual needs. For those with dental insurance, we will gladly submit insurance claims on your behalf and we will make every effort to help you maximize your coverage. Our office also accepts cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, and patient financing alternatives such as Care Credit. Regardless of the financial option that ultimately works best for you, you can rest assured that we do everything we can to make orthodontic treatment affordable.
Helpful Hints About Orthodontic Insurance
There are many different agreements between insurance carriers and their subscribers, and each contract provides a different benefit. Benefits received are based upon the terms of the contract negotiated between the insured’s employer and the insurance company. While our office will do everything possible to help you understand and make the most of your insurance benefits, please be aware that our primary financial relationship is with our patients and not with insurance companies. As a courtesy, our office will complete and submit your insurance forms to achieve the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled, and financial arrangements can be made based on your estimated insurance benefit. However, please remember that you are ultimately responsible for all expenses incurred, and any outstanding insurance claims not paid are your responsibility. Therefore, it is always best for you to read your policy and understand the benefits available to you before treatment starts, so that you are fully aware of your coverage and any limitations on the benefits provided.
